A very rare Japanese tea tasting session in October. We will brew a multi-award winning Japanese tea as well as other tea during the session. A few of achievements by the exquisite tea include the Grand Prize in 2014 Nihoncha Award and being listed in the Wonder 500 of the Cool Japan Project. Each tea brewed on the day has a unique flavour and taste so it will bring new experiences for you. We are going to hold the Discovering Authentic Japanese Tea workshop at the Preston Market this Saturday. It will be from 1pm to 2.15pm on Saturday 7 October. The market is located on Cramer St & Mary St, Preston VIC 3058. You will learn about the basics of Japanese green tea and taste them. In addition, you will taste hojicha which is made just in front of you. A Japanese Tea 101 workshop in Sydney! It will be held at Tien He Tea House (58A Willoughby Rd, Crows Nest NSW 2065) on Saturday 19 August from 11.15am to 12.45pm. In this informative introductory session, types of Japanese tea and brewing tips will be discussed. During the class, Kabusecha will be brewed and paired with Japanese sweets.
