Storage for Green Tea

Tea is very delicate so it is easily affected by oxygen, humidity, temperature and light. The best way to maintain its freshness is to store it in an air-tight container and keep it in cool, dark place. If you purchase tea in bulk, you can take out them for ten days and the rest of tea can remain in the bag and closed tightly using sticky tape and shift it into a plastic bag to leave in a freezer. When you take out more tea from the bag, keep the bag in room temperature some time before opening. Otherwise the sudden change of temperature makes condensation inside the bag or on tea leaves.
